Located in the heart of Oklahoma City’s Together Square, the new mini‑pitch is a 72 × 52 foot SoccerGround Advanced installation. Supported by the Energy Assist Foundation, the court features regulation 12 × 4 foot goals and perimeter netting on three sides. It is open to the public at no cost and designed to bring small‑sided play right into the urban centre.
Safe and Reliable Infrastructure
The design includes rebound boards and tall fencing, ensuring the ball stays in play and players are safe. Constructed for durability, the installation supports community use without compromising on quality or performance.
Programming and Community Engagement
Since opening, the court has hosted youth futsal clinics, informal pickup matches, and community tournaments. It serves as a focal point for Fields & Futures and U.S. Soccer Foundation programs, which promote youth health, skills development, and life skills through structured programming.
Transforming Public Space
This installation marks a significant step in the city’s investment in accessible recreation. By repurposing open urban space into a vibrant soccer hub, the project enhances downtown activation and offers residents a place to play, connect, and develop.
Playing for a Purpose
Beyond sport, the mini‑pitch serves as a platform for community building, youth mentorship, and wellness initiatives, a local landmark that’s helping bring soccer’s benefits to new participants across Oklahoma City.
