With an old pitch which was unsuitable for wet weather and a surface quite likely to cause injuries, the school came up with the idea to set up a mini pitch so that children could still play football on rainy days. Fortunately, a grant from the 3-Länder-Eck region was approved by Arnsberg district government, and the multi-sports pitch project began in April. The WSW Warnow Rostock aquatics club has added a SoccerGround pitch to its extensive sports portfolio.
