About the project

Surrounded by a scenic regional orchard, the town of Kakenstorf has unveiled an exciting new sports venue: the new movement and community park at SV Trelde-Kakenstorf, designed to bring people together through sport and active recreation.

A key highlight of this project is its open-door philosophy: the court is fully accessible to the public—including non-members—and built with inclusion and barrier-free access in mind. It serves as an inspiring example of how grassroots sports facilities can foster community integration and active living.

Multi-Sport Versatility on 24 × 12 Meters

At the core of the park lies a custom-built SoccerGround Classic arena (24 × 12 m), fully equipped for diverse activities beyond traditional soccer:
