Virtually indestructible
Thanks to its sturdy steel frame, the board system of the SoccerGround Classic is already exceptionally well protected against damage. For public spaces that are regularly exposed to vandalism, the Classic pitch can be upgraded to resist deliberate damage even better.
Instead of nets, a high-strength twin-wire mesh ball stop makes the court virtually indestructible. Holes in nets are a thing of the past, and with a ball stop all the way round, the facility can also be secured against unauthorised access.

Site and installation
The pitch is based on the stationary Classic board system, combined with a twin-wire mesh ball stop instead of nets, and completed with artificial turf or a synthetic surface. Multi-sport modules such as basketball and volleyball can be installed.
The board system is anchored in the ground with socket foundations; the area required is shown in the site and foundation plan (depending on size and equipment). We offer a full-service package including professional installation by our team.
Technical details
- Ready-to-play basic equipment: surrounding boards, two 3 x 2 m goals, twin-wire mesh ball stop behind the goals (3 m incl. boards)
- Steel frame, hot-dip galvanised (immersion bath, highest quality class): much more robust than comparable systems made of e.g. aluminium
- Steel goals, fully welded and integrated into the overall structure
- Access through doors in the goals, TÜV-approved as emergency exits
- Ball stop: twin-wire mesh, standard height 3 m incl. boards, mesh approx. 50 x 200 mm, wire gauge 8/6/8
- Boards 1 m high, made of double-walled, metal-coated sandwich panels with a special sound-absorbing foam core
- Board colours: green on both sides or grey; other RAL colours on request
- No finger traps, no sharp edges and no protruding corners
- Optional: twin-wire mesh ball stop along the long sides as well, for a ball stop all the way round
- TÜV GS-tested as a complete system and compliant with DIN EN 15312 (freely accessible multi-sport equipment), so the pitch does not require constant supervision
